Teaching English abroad
If you want to truly understand English, be fluent in it, and learn about the culture of the English-speaking world, you need to study a language abroad. It can be a trip of several weeks, which can dramatically improve your level of English.
In this article, I will talk about where you can study English abroad, what is the cost of studying and what you should not expect from such courses.
Why study English abroad
1. Immersion in the language environment
Being in a language environment, you will unconsciously begin to adopt intonations, memorize some words and understand the grammatical structures of sentences. The language learning process will be greatly accelerated.
2. Acquaintance with native speakers
Whatever the level of the teacher at language courses in Russia, he will not feel and understand the language as a native speaker.

3. Overcoming the language barrier
Often one of the problems why we, knowing the grammatical rules, owning a large vocabulary, cannot speak is mental blocks. In particular, this is a language barrier. It is easier to overcome it, being in the appropriate language environment. Moreover, in some situations, you will be forced to speak only in English.
4. Acquaintance with dialects
English in the northern and southern parts of England are two different languages, at least that's how it can show to beginners. Therefore, studying in another country, you have the opportunity to travel around it and learn dialects.
5. Expanding Cultural Boundaries
Language is part of the culture, and its advanced study is impossible without knowledge of cultural characteristics. Of course, in theory, you can watch videos, and read books, but in real life, culture manifests itself differently even where you do not expect it.
What not to expect
1. You will reach C1 in a couple of months
The process of studying English abroad will be faster, but this does not mean that you will reach an advanced level in a couple of months. There are many external and internal factors, such as the characteristics of your cognitive abilities, memory, mental flexibility, and so on. Therefore, it is best to remove any expectations and immerse yourself in the learning process.
2. It will always be easy and simple
for you. You will have to learn grammar rules and practice them. Grammar, first of all, is the functional feature of the language, without understanding them in simple memorization, you will not be able to speak fluently, let alone think in English.
3. You will immediately speak English
Alas, not immediately. For the language to get used to you and you get used to the language, and the learned grammatical rules are fixed, it takes time.
